Marine collagen peptide and hydroxyapatite, manufactured in India
We recover Type I collagen and calcium mineral from fish scale discarded at landing centres along the east coast of South India, and supply them in bulk to nutraceutical, food, cosmetic and feed manufacturers — as a standard grade, a custom formulation, or under your own private label.
Science-led marine ingredient manufacturing — bulk supply, custom formulation and private label for nutraceutical, food, cosmetic and feed manufacturers.
India lands the raw material. It imports the product.
Tamil Nadu produces close to six lakh tonnes of marine fish a year. Processing waste accounts for 40 to 60% of whole fish weight, and most of it is discarded or sold as low-value meal. Meanwhile India's supplement industry sources the great majority of its collagen from overseas.
Bulk marine ingredients for nutraceutical, food and cosmetic manufacturers
Two actives, supplied to standard grades or to your own specification, with a certificate of analysis on every lot. Both are recovered from the same fish scale, so you can source them from one supplier against one set of documentation.
Marine Type I Collagen Peptide
Enzymatically hydrolysed collagen with a controlled molecular weight distribution, for nutraceutical, functional food and cosmetic formulation. Premium grade targets over 95% protein, under 1,000 daltons and under 1% ash.
Marine Hydroxyapatite
Nano-crystalline, carbonate-substituted calcium phosphate recovered from the demineralisation stage — the mineral a conventional process discharges as effluent. For calcium supplementation, oral care and, longer term, biomedical use.
Fish gelatin and protein hydrolysate are produced to order from the same feedstock base and process train.
One partner, three ways to work with us
Whether you need an ingredient by the tonne, a specification developed around your formulation, or finished product under your own brand — nutraceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and contract manufacturers all start in one of these three places.
The source India's market actually prefers
Bovine collagen leads globally with roughly 45% of supply, but its reach in India is limited by dietary sensitivity. Porcine collagen faces its own constraints.
Marine collagen is the only animal-derived source acceptable across essentially the entire Indian market — which is why it holds close to 70% of India's collagen supplement market against about 25% globally.
That inversion does not exist for producers in most other countries. It is the reason a Tamil Nadu marine collagen venture sits in exactly the segment the domestic market favours, using a raw material the state already produces in abundance.
What sets our material apart
- Species-specific processing rather than blended waste
- Segregated, labelled feedstock with landing-date traceability
- Contaminant screening on every incoming stream
- Short domestic lead times and rupee terms
- A plant our customers can visit
Nothing here was farmed for us. It was already caught, and already landed.
Every kilogram we process is a by-product of fish that came ashore to be eaten. We take what the market discards, and return it as an ingredient that costs the sea nothing further.
